The head of the Ministry of the Interior’s General Operative Services Division Alexandru Jizdan was substituted with Veaceslav Banzari, who until recently held the post of head of the Witnesses Protection Division, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Ministry’s press service said that a relevant order was already issued and Alexandru Jizdan is to be named to another post. The reasons for such a decision haven’t been specified. According to press reports, the replacement of Alexandru Jizdan takes place amid the scandal over the recordings of phone conversations that were leaked to the media.
