The organizers of the national contest for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 decided not to organize the semifinal scheduled for February 22. As a result of the live auditions held recently, the jury recommended the contest’s organizational committee to stage one TV show only – the national final - on February 24, IPN reports.

Sixteen artists and bands will compete in the February 24 final. These are: Anna Odobescu, Anna Timofei, Bella Luna, Che MD, Constantin Cobilean, Doinita Gherman, DoReDos, Felicia Dunaf, Ilia Soroceanu & Dasha DaGro, Lavinia Rusu, Nicoleta Sava, Ruslan Tsar, SandyC & Aaron Sibley, Tolik, Vera Turcanu, and Viorela.

At the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, Moldova competes in the second semifinal on May 10. This year the contest is held in Lisbon, Portugal.
