Over 500 children will see The Nutcracker for free
Over 500 children from underprivileged families will enjoy a free-of-charge visit to the National Opera and Ballet Theater on November 21 to see Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker, as part of the Ballet's series of initiatives dedicated to socially-vulnerable people who don't afford a ticket, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Valeria Seican, the Theater's director said the initiative aims to popularize arts and culture. The Theater will open its doors large to the children from underprivileged families, those whose parents are working abroad and the children with disabilities.
This is the second initiative of the kind by the National Opera and Ballet Theater. Earlier, the Theater invited children from residential schools to see the Sleeping Beauty.
