As many as 5,134 jobseekers have been employed since the beginning of 2025 through the National Employment Agency, IPN reports.
A number of 1,663 people were employed for a period of up to three months. Of these, 835 are women, 1,050 - rural residents, 526 young people, 54 people with disabilities, 27 migrants returned from abroad and 13 Roma, the Agency noted.
Some 30 percent of those hired were employed in collective, social and personal service activities, 15 percent - in construction, 14 percent - in agriculture, the rest - in other fields, such as industry, health and social assistance, education, transport, warehousing and communications.
The Agency recommends jobseekers to contact the local subdivisions for advice and assistance. The services are free and available for both the unemployed and employed people who want to change jobs.

Last year, 16,699 people were helped by the National Employment Agency to find a job. Thus, almost 25% of the registered unemployed persons started work.
