The building of the Parliament was transferred temporarily under the administration of the Ministry of Construction and Territorial Development. The decision was taken at Wednesday’s meeting of the Government, Info-Prim Neo reports. The devastated building will be administered by the Ministry while it will be under extensive repair. The Parliament’s division that should administer the building has neither the capacity needed to coordinate the repair works nor the experience of selecting construction companies for very important building works, Construction Minister Vladimir Baldovici said. The Minister also said that the works will be carried out in a limited period of time, but did not say what period namely.
