A 27-year-old woman has been fined 25 thousand lei for hooliganism after she assaulted a flight attendant during a Chisinau - Dublin flight, IPN reports.

According to the sentence handed down by the Chisinau Court, Buiucani branch, the incident took place on October 8, 2023, when the female passenger caused a conflict on board the aircraft and hit a female crew member.

The prosecutors' investigation established that the woman had been intoxicated since boarding. Although she had initially been warned to respect the rules of conduct and risked not being allowed on board, the captain eventually allowed her to board. During the flight, she consumed alcohol and became aggressive, endangering the safety of the crew and passengers. After several attempts to calm down, she resorted to physical violence, hitting the flight attendant.

In court, the defendant admitted her guilt.
