The protest planned by patent holders for the morning of November 18 was put off after the protesters’ representative was invited to a discussion with the minister of economy, IPN reports.

President of the Small Business Association Eugen Roscovanu told the journalists that after the discussion with Octavian Calmac, he will have a meeting with President-elect Igor Dodon, who personally contacted him and invited him to a tête-à-tête.

Earlier, patent holders announced that they would mount a new protest in front of the Government to demand that the legal provision that bans patent-based entrepreneurial activity from January 1, 2017 should be annulled.
