A man was hit mortally by a car at the entrance to Nisporeni town in the evening of November 4. The man was jaywalking on the R-25 road.

Contacted by IPN, press officer of the National Patrolling Inspectorate Diana Fetco said the pedestrian was struck by a car with Romanian license numbers. The police established that the driver is a Romanian citizen from Mures County. The 41-year-old driver is questioned the police. A criminal case was started against him.

The man was died was 60 and was from Varzaresti village of Nisporeni district.
