A plane flying on the Chisinau - Verona route, operated by the national carrier Air Moldova, made an emergency landing at the Chisinau International Airport 30 minutes after taking off.

Contacted by IPN, the airline’s spokesman Victor Chironda said the plane took off according to schedule, at 13.30. 15 minutes later, it reported technical glitches. According to the regulations, the aircraft cannot continue the flight in such conditions. Thus, the plane returned to Chisinau.

According to Victor Chironda, there were 107 passengers onboard. A part of them will be taken to Verona by another airplane this evening, while the others returned the tickets.
