The initiative group of the Civic Platform “Dignity and Truth” calls on the young people to come to the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau on September 6 to take part in a new protest, IPN reports.

Platform member Valentin Dolganiuc told a news conference that the youth are the driving force of progress and these are urged to become engaged and help remove the corrupt political class. “We call on you to mobilize and act as the main players in the process of recovering the state institutions. The teachers are asked to organize the young people and be near them at the Great National Assembly of September 6,” he stated.

Platform member Dinu Plangau said the young people should have pity for the parents who work hard abroad to secure a better life for them. On September 6, the young people are expected to come to the central square of Chisinau to defend the sacrifices made by their parents.

Journalist Vasile Nastase, who is also a member of the platform, said that if the young people do not join efforts to ensure the change, in several years they will have to follow the example of their parents so as to be able to survive.

The members of the civic platform noted that they are not politically affiliated and there are no persons with obscure interests among them.
