A young man, 19, died last night, and three others were rushed to the Orhei District Hospital after being involved in a head-on traffic accident on the Orhei-Calarasi road. The victim was driving by the rules, police said, when another 19-year-old driver failed to give way.

IPN learned from the Orhei Police that the victim was traveling with another 19-year-old, and in the other car there were two more young men, 20 and 21.

Criminal proceedings have been started, including tests to see whether either driver had been drinking.
