Two teens aged 16 and 18 from Chisinau were arrested on suspicion that they committed housebreaks.

According to the Chisinau Police Division, these entered a house situated on Vl. Maiakovski St in Ciocana district from where they stole a safe where there were 67,000 lei, €2,300 and US$ 900.

In another case, the thieves broke into a house in Bubuieci commune of Chisinau from where they stole golden jewels worth almost 14,000 lei.

If they are fund guilty, the teens will serve up to four years in jail or will do community work.
