Over two tonnes of Diesel fuel have been seized by the Chisinau Police. The 26 year old owner from Nisporeni lacked documents of origin. He confessed to having bought the fuel in the Transnistrian region and wanted to sell it here. He transported it in a tank equipped with a homemade filling device, IPN reports.

The search found a registry book of all the illegal sales in the man's car. He said he sold the fuel at the price of 17 lei a liter only to “trusted persons”.

The police are gathering evidence for the charge of illegal entrepreneurial activity, punishable by fines ranging from 20,000 to 40,000 lei or up to 200 hours of community service.
