The police has uncovered skis in a vehicle for carrying meat products, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from Interior Ministry (MAI). The Mercedes belongs to a company from Bulboaca village, Anenii Noi district, and was halted for checking on the road linking Vadul lui Voda to Chisinau later last week. The police say they found 137 pairs of skis hidden. They are made in France and Spain and are assessed to cost 411,000 lei. According to the transportation invoices those 1,467.5 kg of meat were to reach Edinet, and the police say only 152 kg had the production date on it. The meat was lifted for verification and the skis were confiscated.
