President Igor Dodon awarded the Order of Honor to the Ambassador of Poland in Chisinau Artur Michalski. The relevant decree was published in the June 30 number of the Official Gazette, IPN reports.

The award is conferred at the end of term in profound gratitude for the Polish diplomat’s contribution to developing and strengthening the Moldovan-Polish relations of friendship and cooperation.

In a bilateral meeting recently, President Dodon thanked the ambassador for his contribution to cementing the Moldovan-Polish bilateral relations, for the support provided within a number of projects, especially in the social sphere. He said the bilateral trade should be fostered and expressed his conviction that there is a very big potential that should be realized to increase Polish investments in Moldova.
