Prime Minister Pavel Filip on November 1 transmitted his condolences to the U.S. President Donald Trump and the American people in connection with the attack committed in New York on October 31, IPN reports.
“In these moments of sorrow, I express Moldova’s solidarity with the citizens of the United States of America. In front of this terrible tragedy, I reiterate the firm determination of my country to continue the cooperation and fight against terrorism,” says Pavel Filip’s message.
Eight people were killed and almost a dozen injured when a 29-year-old man in a rented pickup truck drove down a busy bicycle path near the World Trade Center in Manhattan, New York City, in the afternoon of October 31.
