The works to prepare the heating system for the new 2013 – 2014 season in Chisinau are nearing completion. They are 98% ready in the city and 92% ready in the suburbs. The Chisinau public utility continues to replace the heat mains. Until now there were laid 3,155 km of pipes, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from SA “Termocom”, 98% of the inter-quarter networks have been checked for pressure. Maintenance works are carried out at individual and central heating units and they are almost ready (99%). The equipment of the pumping stations was 76% repaired.

The works to repair the equipment of inter-quarter heating rooms were 99% performed in the city and completed in the suburbs.
