Priority vehicles to be visually adjusted and standardized

Special vehicles with priority traffic status will undergo visual adjustments and standardization. A draft decision to this effect, prepared by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, has been approved by the Government, IPN reports.

According to Minister of Internal Affairs Daniella Misail-Nichitin, the project aims to enhance the functionality of priority vehicles:

Border Police will use camouflaged vehicles for effective border monitoring.

The Scorpion Special Battalion of the Carabinieri will employ black vehicles with red reflective stripes.

Vehicles of the General Inspectorate for Migration will be equipped with markings and sound-light signaling for urgent missions.

Additionally, the project includes:

Updating the vector images of General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) vehicles to align with European Union standards.

Expanding the color palette of Customs Service vehicles.

Updating informational inscriptions and identification markings on special vehicles of the National Center for Prehospital Emergency Care (CNAMUP).

According to the Minister, the initiative aims to improve road safety, prevent accidents, and enhance intervention efficiency.
