Processing of GB visa applications changes
Effective August 15, applications for Great Britain visas submitted in Chisinau will be processed at the Regional Center for Central and Eastern Europe of the UK Border Agency in Warsaw, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to a press release from the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the application process will not change. Applicants will submit their file online at visa4UK and will make an appointment at the Visa Section of the UK Border Agency within the British Embassy in Chisinau, where they will submit the application, the passport, justificatory papers and will pay the visa fee.
There will be no other additional fees and the processing times won’t change either. The UK Border Agency plans to process most of the applications, except those concerning residence in Great Britain, within 15 working days since the application is submitted in Chisinau.
Visa applicants are encouraged to make their submissions enough time before their planned trip to Great Britain. An application can be accepted three months before the trip. They must make sure they won’t need their passport for traveling or any other activities during the processing of their application.
