The professional school situated in Ocnita town will be closed owing to the low number of students and teachers there. A decision to this effect was taken by the Cabinet on September 6, IPN reports.

According to the authorities, the specialized technical equipment for training students is old and a large part of this is defective. It is thus hard to provide educational services of a high quality and to train skillful workers to meet the demand on the labor market.

Under the Government decision, the students admitted to this school will be transferred to the professional school in Briceni and to other institutions.
