Radioactive cloud passed over Moldova, caused no damage

x The radioactive cloud that formed in the wake of the blast at Fukushima flew past Moldova without causing any damage, specialists say. “According to the date of the State Weather Service, no change in the radioactivity levels have been recorded in the air, water or soil. The effects of the cloud are really insignificant. We shouldn't be concerned at all, we've been spared”, Constantin Gudima, researcher at the Applied Physics Institute, has told Info-Prim Neo. The cloud crossed a distance of over 20,000 kilometers at an altitude of 2,500 meters until it reached Moldova, so the concentration of radioactive elements was highly diluted, the researcher explained.
