To avoid penalties when the period of stay is not respected, the Moldovan citizens abroad are advised to contact the migration services or the public authorities of the region where they are so as to learn about the procedures for extending the right of stay or the internal exceptions applied in connection with the limitations imposed on border crossing, IPN reports.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration said that if the given information cannot be obtained from the local authorities, the Moldovan citizens can seek support from Moldova’s embassies and consular offices.
