Chisinau Mayor General Dorin Chirtoaca demanded inspecting all the recreational facilities so as to prevent possible fires, Info-Prim Neo reports. At this week's meeting of the Chisinau services and divisions, Dorin Chirtoaca instructed the Municipal Police and the Firefighting and Rescuing Service to check how the recreational facilities observe the anti-fire rules and if there are emergency exits. The inspections will be carried out in the immediate future. During the holidays, the electric power lines can be overloaded. The mayor ordered that the inspections be completed by the start of the winter holidays. The owners that commit irregularities will be punished. The measure comes in the wake of a fire at a night club in the Russian town of Permi last weekend, which took 112 lives.
