Water pipes of over 246 kilometers will be laid all over Moldova by 2015. There will be repaired 165 kilometers of roads, IPN reports, quoting the national regional development strategy for 2013-2015, approved by the Government

Under the strategy, three industrial parks will be set up in the period. There will be also created a business incubator and laid out six garbage dumps. There will be rehabilitated a number of tourist facilities sand built two new sports tourist complexes.

“Emphasis will be put on the balanced development of settlements, improvement of the quality of services provided for people, regardless of the place of residence – town or village,” said Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Construction Liviu Oboroc.

The regional development policies will be extended to cover another two development regions – the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia and the municipality of Chisinau. Currently, these polices are implemented in three regional development regions – North, Center, and South, where there were created regional development agencies.
