Winter weather persists in northern Moldova. Snow is falling on the roads in Soroca, Briceni, Edineț and Șoldănești districts, and road workers spread anti-skid material where necessary, IPN reports.

On Wednesday, 14 special vehicles and 26 workers were taken out to ensure optimal conditions in traffic. The work continued on Thursday.

Drivers are urged to drive carefully and adapt their speed to the road conditions.

The yellow code for frost and strong winds, issued by the State Weather Service, is valid until April 13.
