The Temeleuti village council in Floresti district will be dissolved as it has not adopted any decisions for seven months. The new council is to be elected on May 18, when the new local elections will be held, IPN reports.

The Central Electoral Commission today took note of the notification by the mayor of Temeleuti village, Floresti district, that the conditions for dissolving the local council before the expiration of the term have been met. New elections will be organized in spring.

According to legal provisions, new local elections are held if the council has been dissolved or its composition has been reduced by more than 1/3 of the number established by the Central Electoral Commission under the law.
