Several parties reserved central square of Chisinau for Saturday

A number of parties reserved the Great National Assembly Square au for Saturday, November 23. The Communist Party (PCRM) is not among them. However, the party’s heavyweights announced that they will end their march in the central square of Chisinau, IPN reports.

According to the local authorities, the PCRM reserved the square of the Palace of the Republic for protesting against the defiance of Moldova’s Constitution. Contacted by IPN, MP Artur Reshetnikov said the protest will be held in the form of a march that will end in front of the Governemnt Building, in the Great National Assembly Square.

On the other hand, the Liberal Democratic Party, which submitted an application to the Chisinau City Hall in March, informing that it will stage a meeting with its sympathizers on this day in the Great National Assembly Square, changed its mind. The party’s press officer Larisa Manole said the party reserved the square for a longer period of time, for the weekends, but today they will hold no event.

The square was also reserved by the National Liberal Party. The application was submitted in June. The party said it intended to stage a demonstration to promote the values of the historical truth, the national values, the language and identity of the Romanian people.

A company announced the organization of a commercial event – the presentation of a vehicle that will be offered as a prize on December 1. The notification to the City Hall was filed at the beginning of November.
