Sheriff Tiraspol narrowly qualified for Moldova Cup's semi-finals with an aggregate 1-0 win over the Chisinau-based Academia UTM, Info-Prim Neo reports. After being surprisingly held to a goalless draw in the first leg on their own pitch, the current Cup holders snatched the qualification in the second leg's added time, courtesy to Florent Rouamba's goal scored on 94 minutes. Sheriff are to encounter Iskra-Stal Rynitsa in the semi-finals, on April 14 and 28. Sheriff are the holders of six Moldova Cups already, which were won in 1999, 2001, 2002, 2006, 2008 and 2009.
