Seven persons, six of whom Moldovans, were injured in a traffic accident near Romania’s Pascani in the morning of March 17. The seven were travelling as passengers in a bus running on the Chisinau – Paris route, which skidded off the road and overturned.
Contacted by IPN, the information and communication service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration said there were 14 passengers on the bus, including two French people. Seven of them were hurt the accident, with two passengers being in a serious condition. These are two women – one from France and one from Moldova.
Those injured were rushed to the Pascani Emergency Hospital. Afterward, the two women who sustained serious injuries were transferred to the Neurosurgery Hospital in Iasi. The other five passengers suffered minor injuries.
The circumstances and cause of the accident are yet to be found out.
