The sociologists in Moldova will have their professional day that will be marked on November 14. The initiative was put forward by the Faculty of Sociology of the State University, the Social Researches Center and the Center for Sociological Investigations and Marketing CBS-AXA, and was approved by the Government, Info-Prim Neo reports. The informative note to the draft decision says that the number of sociologists and their contribution to promoting the democratic values increased during the last few years. The first School of Advances Studies in Social Sciences was opened in Paris on November 14. The sociologists’ day in a number of counties is celebrated by holding roundtable meetings, seminars, conferences and other activities.
