The 5th edition of the international exhibition “Sports show. Festival of Martial Arts” has opened in the International Exhibition Center Moldexpo. This expo is a means to promote the sports in this country, said Andrei Pogurschi, the director of the Sports Agency, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Antonie Ignat, the president of the Karate National Federation, the exhibition is an opportunity to promote the principles of the martial arts beneficial for the human body. “It's easy to deceive children. But we talk health. What a head knockout is? One of them is enough for all your life,” Ignat said. The expo attendees will be shown performances of Taekwondo, karate, Greek-Roman wrestling, free wrestling, judo, and also basketball, draughts, weight lifting and shaping. From April 10 through 12, four contests will be held: martial arts, wrestling, extreme sports and the international contest “Strong Men”. The exhibition is hosted by Pavilion 3 of the Moldexpo Center.
