The State Hydrometeorology Service issued a yellow code warning for high winds for Saturday, December 17. The wind is expected to intensify to 15-20 meters per second. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, the head of the National Weather Forecasts Center Tatiana Strugac said that on December 17 Moldova will be in the zone of an Atlantic cyclone located above the Baltic Sea. This will lead to the intensification of the wind strength. Tatiana Strugac also said that the weather will gradually grow colder. Insignificant precipitation is possible on December 20, following the influence of a cyclone. On Saturday and Sunday, nighttime temperatures will drop to minus 3 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will vary around 6 degrees Celsius. It will get colder from next week. There will be minus 8 degrees Celsius at night and plus 3 degrees Celsius during the day.
