Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca invited the Chisinau students and teachers to take part today in a meeting with Romanian folk singer Tudor Gheorghe, who will give a concert in Chisinau tomorrow, November 23, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Romanian artist, who was invited to Chisinau to hold a concert themed “Knights of the Late Lanterns”, will launch today his biography book “In the Shadow of the Minstrel” that includes interviews given by the singer for Radio Craiova. The event will take place at the Theater “Satiricus. Ion Luca Caragiale” starting at 18.00. The launch will be attended by artists, singers, personalities from the world of culture as well as admirers of Tudor Gheorghe’s work. The mayor said the Chisinau students and teacher should also take part in the launch as this is an occasion to meet a great artist. The concert will take place at the National Palace in Chisinau. It forms part of the program of events dedicated to Romania’s National Day, which is marked on December 1. The book “In the Shadow of the Minstrel” was launched in Bucharest on October 11.
