A man aged 18 was condemned to 6 years and 2 months in prison for robbing an Italian national of goods worth 18,000 lei using a knife, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Prosecutor General's Office, which investigated the case, the man entered the apartment rented by the Italian in Chisinau and, using a knife, robbed him of a notebook and 2 mobile telephones valued at 18,000 lei. Then the robber hit the victim with an iron several times and fled. The Prosecutor General's Office also reported that three other men were condemned for illegal sale of great amounts of narcotic drugs. Two of them received sentences of 8 years' imprisonment, while the third got 9 years. Two women were also condemned for similar offenses, to 5 and 7 years in jail.
