Ten-day vacation offered for winter holidays
The Government decided that December 25, 2009 will be a nonworking day so as to allow those following the Julian calendar to celebrate Christmas on this day, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The executive will also table a legislative initiative to declare December 25 as a bank holiday.
Besides the traditional public holidays, the employees will also not work in the period between January 4 and 6, 2010. Instead of these day, they will work on Saturdays – on January 16, February 1 and March 13.
The modification of the work program does not affect the units and personnel that work according to a special or continuous program. If need be, the company managers could bring together the employees on the weekend.
