Tents in Chisinau and Balti open at night as well
The tents put up in Chisinau and Balti by the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, where passersby can warm themselves up, remain open at nigh too.
According to the Service’s press officer Liliana Puscasu, more than 2,000 people so far entered the 15 courts pitched in the country to drink tea and warm themselves up. Most of them were homeless persons, but there were also sellers working at the markets nearby, elderly people and children going to school and back.
The tents are outfitted with warm air tubes. In Cantemir, Cahul and Hincesti, they work between 8am and 9pm.
