The tenure of the three jurists delegated by Moldova to serve at the Registry of the European Court of Human Rights will be extended by one year, IPN reports. The Government allocated €66,600 from its reserve fund for remunerating the jurists in the second half of 2014.
Each of the jurists will receive by €3,700 a month. But a part of this money will go to cover the health insurance in France and to pay for the service housing.
The decision to extend the jurists’ tenure for the third term was taken following a request made to the Ministry of Justice by the ECHR Registrar Erik Fribergh.
In 2012, the Government designated three jurists to work at the ECHR Registry for an initial period of one year, with the subsequent extension of the term.
