Alecu Renita, chairman of the Ecologist Movement of Moldova, told a news conference that the centers are designed for the people, civil society and nongovernmental community in general. “We focus on four directions: educational activities, consultancy, awareness-raising campaigns, and a portal for everyone to be able to benefit from standard models when they need to go to court or need information about the atmosphere or the quality of soil,” he stated. Minister of the Environment Gheorghe Salaru said that these centers are welcome. Every district should have by such a center. The centers are located in Chisinau, Glodeni, and Cimislia.
