Two men and a teen died in accidents on the national roads on October 20. Press officer of the National Patrolling Inspectorate Diana Fetco has told IPN that the first accident happened in Dezghingea village of Comrat district, where a driver aged 51 ignored the road signs banning crossing and the vehicle was struck by a train. The man died at the scene.

Another car accident on the M -1 Chisinau – Leuseni road resulted in the death of a boy aged 12. A vehicle driven by a woman aged 35 turned left in an intersection and was hit laterally by another car. As a result, the boy died on the spot, while another four persons, including a child aged 5, were taken to the Straseni District Hospital with different injuries.

A man aged 48 killed himself in Calarasi town. He threw himself under the wheels of a passenger train running on the Moscow – Chisinau route. The engine driver could not avoid the impact. The man died on the spot.
