The road going near the church and the road to the new quarter of Cruglic village of Criuleni district were fully repaired with asphalt concrete with the financial resources of the settlement and the District Council.

According to a communiqué of the Criuleni District Council, the works to rehabilitate the 0.8 km of roads were executed during ten days at a cost of 1.1 million lei. The contribution of the District Council was 600,000 lei, while of the mayor’s office – 594,000 lei, IPN reports.

Criuleni district deputy head Tudor Malai assured the villagers that the mayor’s office will continue to be financially supported so that all the damaged roads in the settlement are repaired.

Mayor of Cruglic Svetlana Cucu said the asphalted roads benefit about 2,800 residents of the village.

The project to repair the two roads forms part of the district program on the rehabilitation of roads and streets in settlements for 2014.
