Two men and woman killed in fires during 24 hours

Three persons died in the seven fires that occurred in Moldova yesterday and last night, Civil Protection and Emergencies Service spokeswoman Liliana Puscasu has told Info-Prim Neo. A 78-year-old man from Rosu village of Cahul district was killed in a fire caused by a smoldering cigarette. A woman aged 80 lost her life in a fire that started from the stove in Petreni village, Drochia. In Cantemir district, a man of 58 died in a fire whose cause is not yet known. The 90 fires that happened in Moldova so far this year resulted in 19 deaths. One of the victims was a child.
