Two inhabitants of Chisinau were arrested by the police on suspicion that they distributed pictures and videos showing sexual intercourses between minors and adults. Prosecutors identified the places where videos showing how children aged between four and 12 were sexually abused by male adults were recorded, IPN reports.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Special Cases carried out searches at the homes of the suspects, seizing information systems, notebooks, hard disks and other devices and stopping thus the distribution of over 1,100 files with child pornography.

The suspects are aged 28 and, respectively, 40. One of them is unemployed, while the other one works as programmer and network engineer. The two face up to three years in jail.

The identity of the abused children hasn’t been yet discovered.
