Two teachers have been fired after one of them hit two children, while the other witnessed the scene but didn't intervene. The incident happened last week in a school in Floresti district.

The Ministry of Education announced that it requested the Floresti education division to punish the principal of the school as well, suggesting the division should sack the person.

According to the two students, both aged 12, they were attending the math class when a teacher entered the room and started hitting one of them in front of his classmates. The reason was that the boy had insulted with obscene words and signs the teacher's nephew. The student says that he went to the principal with a classmate but they were both slapped there and ended up in hospital. The teacher that attacked the boy admitted his guilt.
