Wolrd Bank experts will propose to the Ministry of Justice models from the United States and the European Union that are applicable to the ongoing Moldovan reforms. Justice Minister Vladimir Cebotari today met a group of World Bank experts, who are on a mission to study the institutional framework of the justice sector.
The Ministry said in a press release that the probation system, the enforcement of court decisions and the use of IT novelties in justice proceedings are some of the areas of shared interest between the Ministry and potential foreign donors.
The experts highlighted the necessity of setting up a unique center for introductory and continuous training for public servants, including online, in developing interconnected information systems in the public sector.
Vladimir Cebotari also talked about the measures needed to apply the new court map legislation and about the ongoing efforts to modernize the prison system.
