Woman accused of swindling 5m lei out of ten persons
A 37-year-old woman is accused of swindling ten persons out of about 5 million lei and using the money for personal purposes in 2008-2010, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Prosecutor General’s Office.
The woman posed as the director of a realty agency. On the pretext of performing profitable real estate and land transactions, she managed to obtain important sums from a number of persons. In another case, having a power of attorney allowing selling a plot, the woman sold the land, but did not include the transaction in the firm’s accounting documents.
The prosecutors sent the case to the Buiucani district court for examination.
