Weather forecasters issued a yellow code warning for heavy rain and high winds for the night and the morning of March 24. The precipitation is expected to reach 15-25 liters per square meters. The northern wind will intensify to 15-20 meters per second.

Forecaster of the State Hydrometeorology Service Valetina Dezin has told IPN that in northern Moldova there will be sleet and rain. After March 24, the weather will grow warmer. Daytime temperatures will vary between +3 and +8°C, while nighttime temperatures between -4 and 0°C.

A yellow code advisory for ground frost and -5°C is to be issued for March 25 and 26. On Sunday, March 27, the temperatures during the day will rise to +15°C in the southern districts. At night the temperatures will oscillate between -1 and +5°C.
