The Youth Parliament is recruiting volunteers for taking part in the May 18 activities dedicated to Europe Day in Chisinau. Those who want can fill out the application form that is available on the website eudaymoldova2013.org until May 14.

Contacted by IPN, Ionela Ambrosie, a member of the Youth Parliament, said that the volunteers will distribute informational brochures, will take part in contests and will interact with representatives of different European countries.

“On Europe Day, we will build a small European town in the square of the National Opera House “Maria Biesu”. The town will consist of a number of improvised tents. Each European country will have its own tent. The volunteers will help us to inform those attending about our country,” said Ionela Ambrosie.

She also said that the event is a better prospect for volunteers because they will be able to take part in contests and to win scholarships and internships in Europe.

The Europe Day celebrations are organized by the Delegation of the European Union in partnership with the Youth Parliament.
