A photography exhibition reflecting the events of April 7, 2009, is being held at the Parliament. The exhibition features a selection of photos from the archive of photojournalist Andrei Mardari and the National Archives Agency, including images captured by photojournalists Valeriu Corcimari and Mihai Vengher, IPN reports.
The photographers managed to capture key moments from April 7, 2009, when tens of thousands of people took to the streets to protest against the results of the parliamentary elections. During the protests, the buildings of the Parliament and the Presidency were severely damaged.
The exhibition, marking 16 years since the events of April 7, 2009, will be open to visitors until April 11.
