The director of the company “Neomansarde” Aliona Gasanov regrets that attempts are made to politicize the subject concerning the attic-like apartments so that the blame be borne by the directors and founders of the construction companies, not by those who blocked their activity. The reaction comes after a number of families that remained without apartments – clients of “Neomansarde” – made a repeated call to the authorities, demanding launching an investigation into this case.
In a communiqué, Aliona Gasanov says the initiative to build attic-like apartments was promoted by the Chisinau City Hall. “Regretfully, the municipal authorities, in pursuit of political dividends and not only, didn’t formulae regulations governing the activity in this area. As a result, the project failed. Currently, 80% of the attic-like apartments in Chisinau cannot be finished, including those built by “Euro Mansarde”, through the agency of the “First House” program. Thus, most of the companies working in this sector are close to bankruptcy,” stated Aliona Gasanov.
The director said the investors have yet debts of €96,000 to the company. All the authorizations registered at the Agency for Land Relations and Cadastre were nullified by the Chisinau City Hall without a legal reason. A criminal case was started over this case and the technical state of all the attic-like apartments is being examined. Thus, in the period the company cannot work.
“All the given actions led to the blocking of the work of the company. Moreover, I was recently informed about a court decision by which the company was declared insolvent. An insolvency administrator was named by the investors and I’m obliged to give the stamp and all the documents of the company to him. Regretfully, the actions taken by the Chisinau City Hall to suspend our authorization and by private individuals who sequestrated the company led to the blocking of the activity of “Neomansarde,” reads the communiqué.
In a news conference, the 200 families that remained without apartments said that since May, when they made public the swindles committed by the company’s administration, several institutions took steps, but only formally and nothing was done during half a year.
