Bomb threat at Chisinau school
The students of school No. 6 situated in Chisinau's Botanic district were allowed to go home after a person called the police and informed that a bomb had been planted at the institution.
Adrian Jovmir, the head of the General Police Commissariat's press office, has told Info-Prim Neo that a young man called from a public phone and said the school located at 17/2 Cuza Voda Blvd. had been mined.
The bomb squad was on the scene immediately. They inspected the place during three hours and found no explosive device, Adrian Jovmir said.
This is the eighth false bomb threat this year. The authors of the previous seven threats have been identified and punished. They included a minor, whose parents were obliged to pay a fine of 400 lei.
